I am SO excited to share David and Haley’s amazing KC Wedding today on the blog! I can’t believe that we shot their beautiful KC Engagement session last fall! Time flies by! These two are SO much fun to be around! I was so excited to see them again and to capture their wedding day! Oh my goodness, it was perfect!!!! We all had such a wonderful time and I loved witnessing such a beautiful day and couple! David and Haley, Thank you SO much for allowing me to capture your engagement and wedding day! It’s been so much fun working with the two of you! Your wedding day was amazing and so beautiful, but more importantly, your relationship together was so beautiful and such a joy to document! Your friends and family were so much fun and it was so wonderful to see all the love and support that surround you two! What a blessing you have by starting your marriage out on such a wonderful day surrounded by loved ones! I hope that you enjoy your images for years and years to come! ENJOY!!!

“Our wedding day was hands down the best day of our lives! Looking back, it seemed like we blinked and the day was over, but I would not go back and change a thing. We were surrounded by all of our friends and family members, which is exactly what we had hoped for. We spent what felt like years planning every last detail and in the end, it all came out to be everything we had dreamed of!”

“I will 100% never forget how opposite David and I’s days started. David went on a nice run with his Uncle Rick and leisurely got dressed (into the most amazing blue suit ever!). I personally couldn’t keep a single bite of food or drink down. One of my bridesmaids begged her fiancé to bring me meds to help, which he so politely agreed to do, and then when I finally did feel better, my mother and bridesmaids force fed me cashews about 10 minutes before walking down the aisle. If I didn’t have a best group of girls behind me I don’t know who does!”

LOVE these amazing cufflinks!!!!

“There is no way to pick just 1 favorite moment of our wedding day, so a few things!! 1. David gave me a watch that he had engraved to say “I will spend the rest of my time loving you – HMF”. Right?!?! If that isn’t the most romantic thing you’ve ever heard than I don’t know what is! I found out later that evening that he gotten himself the same watch, and had both of our initials engraved onto his! Not everyone knows that the watch David wore on our wedding day was a wooden watch I had given him on our 1 year anniversary. I also gave David a brand new Garmin running watch as his wedding gift. Apparently we have quite a thing for watches!? 2. That church!! Redemptorist is quite simply the most beautiful church I’ve ever been in. It was so awesome to see how amazed all of our family and friends were at how stunning the church is.”

Haley, you are stunning girl!

“Our entire day was romantic! Walking into the church, having not seen David at all yet that day was amazing. It was so fun for everyone in that church to experience the moment with us!” LOVE David’s expression!  AHH! One of my favorite photos!  SO in love with those amazing blue suits and those stunning gold bridesmaid dresses!

“Our flowers were amazing! If I could afford to have Dan remake my bride bouquet once a week for the rest of my life, I would!”  You two are PERFECT together!

“We never had a certain theme that we were going for, but I think everything came together! We sat down and met with Dan Meiners about our floral and decor, I told him I wanted everyone to be in awe when they walked into the room, and I think he completely delivered! Sitting down with Dan gave us complete hope that he would create our best day ever! My dad said it best – “we should just let Dan do whatever Dan wants to do”. “

“Plan early, but don’t stress. Hands down, get a day of coordinator. Having Nellie to run our entire day took so much stress off of David and I. Wedding planners have so much knowledge and so many ideas, including things you’d never have even thought of. We can’t imagine not having someone to be our “go-to gal” the entire day!”

This was one of the best bouquet tosses ever! Haley’s Grandmother caught it fair and square and was so excited about it! I LOVE THIS!!!!

“Keeping both set of our patients involved. My parents live 7 hours away from KC, so we did a lot of planning via phone, or when they were in town. Many appointments were made months in advance, and on days when we knew my mother could be off of work and in KC to make these appointments. David’s dad does a lot of international traveling so we also made a bunch of plans around when we knew he could make it. Both my mom and David’s mom went wedding dress shopping with me and helped me pick out the dress of my dreams!! I think we did quite a great job of making sure that everyone in both of our families were involved and a part of our day! We also did all of this while I worked night shifts. I was one tired bride some days! I can finally say I am officially on day shift and couldn’t be happier!”
